Health and Safety Policy

Elektrárny Opatovice, a.s. will manage all activities so far as reasonably practicable to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment, based on safe systems of work and the safe design, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance and disposal of equipment, while complying with all prevailing legislation.

The Company’s Health and Safety responsibilities to our shareholders, neighbours, staff, contractors and the general public will be promoted amongst all staff and contractors working at the Power Station and our Heating Distribution Business.

We will operate to OHSAS 18000 accredited management systems that will ensure the systematic identification, assessment and control of Health and Safety risks to people on our site.

Health and Safety performance and objectives standards and improvements will be defined and communicated.

Performance against objectives and targets will be assessed and reviewed to promote the continual improvement of a safe and healthy working environment.
