Elektrárny Opatovice, a.s. is a key producer and supplier of electricity and heat in the Hradec Králové and Pardubice region which carry out the operation of Opatovice Power Station and Stand-by Heating Plants in surrounding towns. Elektrárny Opatovice, a.s. is committed to achieving high standards of environmental performance in the energy sector. In order to achieve these standards, we will:

Reduce pollution to a practicable minimum level by continually improving our environmental performance.

Comply with all applicable Legal Requirements and with other requirements to which our organization subscribes which relate to our environmental aspects.

Communicate constructively with our employees, partners, neighbours and regulators and those who work with us. We will seek input, and ensure that we discuss matters in a transparent way and maintain relationships at various levels.

Set measurable and achievable environmental targets and objectives to improve our environmental performance and we will review them annually.

Provide appropriate trainings to person(s) performing tasks that have the potential to cause a significant environmental impact at our site.
