Gypsum
Characteristics
Flue gases desulphurisation product, gypsum crystals (calcium sulphate dihydrate CaSO4.2H2O with fly-ash particles admixture. Fine powder consistency, moisture content is between 6 - 15 % of mass, powder density 950 - 1050 kg/m3.
The gypsum is supplied in a moistening state from ash disposal site or storage bin and transported in bulk by trucks.
Examples of application
Plaster cardboards, production of porous concrete, the gypsum is certified for cement production.
Production capacity
Annual production amounts to approximately 85,000 tones. It is possible to take off the gypsum in an optional amount given by capacity possibilities of loading technique.
